Am I the only one who thinks Amber's engagement ring is as fake as her new boobs and why the hell does it look like an engagement ring set in between 2 wedding bands? It's a bit much for just an engagement ring.

shareShe said herself she likes gaudy things, that ring represents that. I thought it was funny when they asked which teen mom received a $21 dollar engagement ring from Walmart. I don't know if any of you watch the show Superstore, but in the first season this guy goes up to buy an $8 dollar ring to propose with and I immediately thought he is pulling a Gary!

shareGlen is a hoot! He is the kind of conservative I can deal with, he truly is principled in his beliefs, but with compassion about them. I cracked up when he bought all the plan b pills from the pharmacy then did not realize how much they cost. He realized that the money to take care of his own family was a more important issue.

shareYes and no. The design in the center is what is called an invisible setting, where multiple stones, 4 in this case, are placed together to give the impression of one larger stone. This lowers the cost significantly, making diamonds an economical option, so you don't generally see fake stones in this type of setting. I haven't been able to find a picture with enough detail to say for sure, but the channel set stones appear to be synthetic. For the size they are, they could be in Amber's price range, so I wouldn't rule out them being real.
shareSee I didn't notice the 4 stones. I thought it was one large stone. My original engagement ring had the invisible setting, but it was really obvious that it was 4 instead of just one. If that's what hers was then they did a pretty good job making it look good.
shareShe used to have close pictures of them on her instagram but deleted them. She said they are from Kay. I have no life so I found them on the Kay website. Even with the invisible setting the new one was around $7,000.
shareKay will customize though, you can always change out the stones for something that costs more or less.

She just got a new one too that's bigger, also from Kays. Same look as the old one just with more stones. They have to just be upgrading each time and not buying whole new rings.
