Mika Boorem can not play a young adolescent. she looks her age if not older/ looks wise really wasn't believable as anything other than a SENIOR in high school at best.

well it turns out it was good ...there was no real need to focus on the age of the daughter. I liked it a lot in all and don't want to spoil anything it was that good.
