Vocal Rush vs. Ten
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.
From both groups, everyone was just so on point.
One of the best performances I've heard in a while.

I agree with you, except the part about necrophilia. huh?
shareOh, sorry.
That's my signature.
I keep forgetting to italicize it or something. XD.

I thought all battles were great! I thought the high school girls from Vocal Rush more than owned their own with the women from Ten
shareAbsolutely!
I was kind of expecting Ten to do better simply because of the experience, but I think Vocal Rush did absolutely fantastic and absolutely held their own.
Another one I thoroughly enjoyed--though all the group performances were great--was Home Free vs. Filharmonic. SO ENTERTAINING. I'm still laughing thinking about it, and just. It was amazing.
This show just screams "celebration of music."

I agree with all of you. Admittedly, I haven't seen this in a couple years. I tuned in on a whim last night. I was blown away by the performances yesterday. I was also wondering how Vocal Rush would do, going against Ten, a group that seemed to have the experience. But I was pleasantly surprised. They held their own, and both performances captivated me. The same for Home Free and Filharmonic. I know they were competing against each other, but they did an awesome job as a unit. The choreography and the groundhog dance, lol, were the icing on the cake.
shareThat was indeed good. I don't know why they call it "versus," though. It really seems like it was more like two groups vs. two groups vs. two groups.
shareI think the new producer liked "pitch perfect" too much.
shareI hated Pitch Perfect. It was the a ca-stupidest thing I've seen. There were some good a cappella performances and arrangements, but that movie was putrid.

Agreed. This was truly one of the best performances on the show ever and of course they weren't typical enough to win. meh.
