I know Nick has to stretch things out and create suspense... but come on

"Element, the judges liked some of your things, but you also had this problem, this problem, and this problem."

"Home Free, the judges praised your entire performance, but is it enough to move on?"

They had nothing negative to say about Home Free whatsoever, but he still makes it seem like there's even a chance they're in the bottom?

I noticed that too.

That was pretty-weak writing (by Nick or whoever wrote it up).

It was obvious that Element was on its way out, and he shouldn't have even bothered going through that pathetic pretense.

I guess he could have said "The judges praised your performance, but did it have all sorts of problems that the judges were just too afraid to mention?"

Or, "The judges praised your performance, but that doesn't mean d--k because it's the producers who really decide who moves ahead, and if they don't like you you're screwed." :)

Heh, good one. How about "not like there's any chance a girls band would ever win that show anyway but I can't tell you it's the white boys band who's going to win at the end cause... duh."?
