Release dates

Can someone answer this:
I sincerely have no knowledge about this topic so, is it normal the movie is like 20 days from only being released in countries like Malaysia, Phillipines and Indonesia?? Like, no one has ever mentioned any other countries such USA, UK, Australia, France, etc...?
