Atlantis?

I don't mean to be overly critical, but the producers make it sound like they are the first to speculate that the Minoans on Santorini were likely Plato's subject of the lost city of Atlantis. Scientists for ages have long associated the Santorini Volcano's eruption (Or Thera eruption) along with a series of earthquakes to the destruction of the great Minoan civilization that existed there at the time.

Not to rant. It's just for a new series this show just has a very been there, done that feel to it. Save for the fact that celebs narrate the thing.

They just had an A-list actor narrate over a television movie that hasn't aired in North America. The movie in question is "Atlantis: End of a World, Birth of a Legend" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1744825/

That kind of makes it not as good as I originally thought. I wonder why they chose to do it this way?
