Loved Mo'Nique's Speech

She looks incredible and her speech was amazing.

I thought it was a great speech also. She's very well spoken.

You can tell she was trying to hold back the tears.

I wished she had said "for anyone who has been touched inappropriately, please tell someone."

She just said "for anyone who has been touched" and that made it first seem like she meant "touched" as in by something positive (like by the film).

That was an important message to get out, but it wasn't clear what she meant.

Glad she won! How wonderful.

I'm glad she won, and I wanted Gabby to win so badly, I think she deserves it over Sandra Bullock, I don't even know if Sandra will get nominated for an oscar.

Hmmm, I have to respectfully disagree, Jane2005. I haven't seen Precious yet but I know what it's about and I knew what Mo'Nique meant about being touched. I think if she had added the word "inappropriately" it would have sounded too much like one of those "The More You Know" PSAs.

But maybe that's just me.
