Pretty bleak, but I liked it

The acting varied and the action scenes were a little weak, but overall it was a pretty depressing look at what would happen if they ever did drop the bombs. Not glamorous at all and much quicker than The Road.

Odd handgun to use. You don't tend to see long barrel revolvers over a garden variety Glock. But it is Texas.

Furlong's acting has gotten worse, and it was bad in his prime. The others were so so. The best acting I thought was the slow witted Jonathan.

A nuclear blast is the scariest of the *beep* hits the fan end of world scenarios to me for all the reasons shown. The idea of having no where to run but underground for months is horrible. Or wander around for a slow death.

Funny I was going to say that about Furlong, but figured I would keep it positive. Yes, he was brutal. Not sure what he thought he was portraying, but it wasn't good.

Still, I enjoyed it.

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

Very disturbing yet better than The Divide.

I thought the stills at the beginning were amazing, never seen scenes so bleak and dead, yet real.
