Romantic comedy? spoilers be here

Netflix sucks at classifying movies.

Yeah, I laughed my ass off when she got hit by the truck. *rolls eyes*

Maybe that's why so many people have been bashing this movie for being a failure as a RomCom. I've never paid that much attention to Netflix's classifications, so I didn't go into the movie with that kind of preconceived expectation. Consequently, I enjoyed it tremendously as a dramatic story of love and personal growth.

Since there isn't a simple Like button, I'll just say - "like"

Couldn't agree more. I was enjoying the movie found it to be draggin along a bit but obviously the director and writer wanted the audience to really see all the downs and obstacles these two had to go through to finally realize they loved each other and that they belong together. then they rip your heart right out of your freakin chest!!!!
THE NEXT MARLEY AND ME !! another absolutely heartbreaking movie I will never watch again. I can't believe how this ended, I'm furious.

Agreed, it was dragging a bit and then splat! Don't think I'll bother reading the book now.

It is not funny to me.

It would fit nicely into a category where a couple complain and criticize a lot and are unhappy with reach other. That happens often in the movie, but not much comedy.

Except there is a type of comedy that uses criticism to attempt to make a joke. I guess this might qualify for that. Probably some people enjoy it but I do not.

It was miscategorized. It isn't a comedy; it's a drama.
