If you want to enjoy this movie, don't read the book first

Trust me, I've done both, and you'll love this movie or at least enjoy it if you haven't read the book. Don't get me wrong, the book is wonderful, much better than the movie, but that can be said for most adaptations. It's just that if you've read the book, you'll know that the film is lacking so much, and your brain will constantly be filling in the blanks, or thinking "that's not how it was in the book" etc etc, and you can't appreciate the film for what it is.

Just my two cents.
