Brilliant!

When I saw the collection of nominated animated short films last week, I was sure Wallace and Grommit would be a walk-away winner. But the last short film, preceded by the language and violence disclaimer, was Logorama, and it's surely deserving of the Oscar. Brilliantly conceived, a visual spectacle that kept you spellbound and smiling-a prediction of where the planet is headed? (note the destruction of L.A. amid the current news from Haiti and Chile). When the collection of animated shorts plays in your town (and I hope they do), rush to see them. They're all quite good, but Logorama is the best.

I think it was OK until the last few minutes. All of a sudden, a pretty interesting story turns into... a disaster flick? WTF? It's like at some point in the screenwriting process, they thought, "[Censored] this, let's just blow [censored] up!"

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.
