Where can I buy his watch?

The watch was custom made for the movie. It has a "stone cold" skull symbol on it

What you want is the watch band it is called a "Survival band" or "Survival braclet"

The "rope" is called paracord or 550 cord and several sites are dedicated to making stuff out of it.

"Survival bands" can be bought here http://www.wilsontactical.com/ or on ebay.

You can also get directions to make your own all over youtube just search "paracord bracelet" or "paracord watch band". Paracord is cheap (around 10 cents a foot)

The watch was a limited edition put out by Kobold, and the strap was made by http://www.survivalstraps.com/
Good luck finding the watch, as there were only 6 made.

There didn't appear to be that much cord in the band to lower him as far as it did. Plus, when he was untying it, it looked about as thin as a shoestring. When he went over the edge, it looked at least 1/2 an inch in diameter. Of course, using it that way was foretold when he received it as a gift, so you knew he'd have to use it sooner or later in the movie.

i tought about that too.

1. he had more watches in his backpack (justincase)

2. since someone said here above that it was only 6 made,maybe he had those six in the backpack
