Either the US has a SERIOUS obesity problem, or a lot of Americans are taking up sumo wraslin'. :)
shareThe US has a far larger population than the UK so (no pun intended) our US obesity problem is larger by definition. I'm grateful to anyone from anywhere who wants to help that situation. Especially someone who wants to start in the sorry school situation which has been a pet peeve of mine for many years.

He already did this in the UK. He managed to make a lot of changes in the school lunch program in England. He said the reason it was easier to make changes there was that there aren't the damn lobbyists like we have here. There the lawmakers can see what needs to be done and do it, without money-grubbing corporations having their say like they do here (at the expense of our nation's health and well-being). We are ruled by corporations, drug companies, etc. Our government isn't "for the people, by the people" and it isn't looking out for our best interests.
