The problem with this show is...


...Jamie.

I like Jamie and I like what he is trying to do. I applaud him for trying to tackle the monumental task of reforming American school lunch rooms and American eating habits...but I fear he may not have been the best person for the job.

Not because he has some chub to him, no. It is because he has a way about him that put people an guard. Several times through this show I found myself thinking and asking why did he say THAT or do THAT, that way? I can't immediately recall exact moments, but I know I have seen those moments on this show.

What he is doing is right, people need to hear this stuff...but how he is doing it is only going to lead to failure. When it comes to this topic and getting people to listen, Jamie's biggest obstacle is himself.

You can't fake good art any more than you can fake a good meal.
