Why Is It That Our Food Industry in America is so Disgusting + messed up

Mad cow disease, periodic salmonella poisoning, factory farms, overcrowding, swine flue, avian flu, hormones, antibiotics, genetic engineering. Because of the unsanitary and disgusting conditions our food comes from and is handled in it has to be filled full of chemicals, preservatives and things we've never heard of. Things we wouldn't even think of having in our kitchens. The food is grown with toxic pesticides and fertilizers all of which ends up in the food and can not be taken out even after washing. Babies are born with 300 chemicals in their blood according to studies. 60,000 chemicals are approved by the racket that calls them the FDA to poison our food with. WHY IS OUR COUNTRY SO UTTERLY MESSED UP?! IF things aren't bad and disgusting enough now they are pushing food on us that is GENETICALLY ENGINEERED! Some vegetable products have PIG GENES IN THEM! Thanks to the poor and irresponsible farming products the food we have is full of chemicals and devoid of nutrients. Why is that farmers have such utter disrespect for the people that give them their living that they poison our food like this?!! Hello people when are you idiots ever going to wake up?! Why is our food the most disgusting, most adulterated most foul crap in the world?! So why is the farm and food industry trying to poison us?! Why are they trying to kill us? WHY?!

Because the corporations responsible for producing our food don't care about people or their health, they only care about money, and they make the most money by cutting corners and putting cheaper, more unhealthy ingredients in everything. And the corporations have our government in their pockets through lobbyists and bribery, so no one can stop them. These corporate executives are the same *beep* who take huge bonuses while their company loses money and lays off workers, so don't expect them to ever stop being greedy, in fact they'll probably just get even greedier. The only way to save our country is to get rid of the corporate parasites once and for all.
