This case reminds me of the Rachel Cook case - both women were out running and never seen again. Also similar is there is no evidence reported in either case as if they disappeared into this air.

Rachel was near home and people saw her however. But Amy was in a more secluded area. I just wish women who are out running or walking especially in quiet places would carry mace and keep a look out over their shoulders regularly. It's just never entirely safe to be a woman and out on your own where no one can hear you, and we just don't live in that kind of safe world.

The show pointed out her husband and a killer who camped in the area but still nothing has developed from the case - although just read from k2tv with todays date (May 11th) they are reopening the case.

Felt sad for Amy's mom - she seemed like she was about ready to break every minute she was on.
