From the looks of the ratings here on imdb the show is not being very well received by most people. I like it but I admit I'm a bit biased.
Do you think it is possible Michael's children will be recruited to save the show?
I am completely against it but I have to say I would watch it.

Yes, right Now the focus is on the 40th reunion but the title of the show is not "The Jackson 5 40th Reunion" but "The Jacksons:A FAMILY Dynasty" which more than allows sufficient leeway to add the children if they so choose.
And it does matter how it is rated because that is one indication of how the show is being received and thus potential ratings which is everything for a tv show and its future. Shows which receive poor ratings are not renewed.
If the ratings here on imdb are any indication the show unfortunately has little chance of being renewed so they might be tempted to add Michael's children to pump up the ratings. What I am asking is do you think they'll do it, is that appropriate and would people watch?

I agree that the children should not be added. Even if that kills any forthcoming seasons. I need to find the ratings to get an idea of that.

I know I keep repeating myself but no one so far seems to be reading carefully!
The show is about the brothers AS OF NOW. They can make it about whatever the heck they want- they are only constrained by the title of the show.
Please note the title of this show refers to a family "dynasty". A dynasty is the handing down of power or influence from one generation to the next so my question is an obvious and fair one.
I don't think they should do it but let's stop acting like the subject matter of the show is set in stone.

One would think that Michael Jackson’s brothers would do anything for a paycheck right now. But that isn’t necessarily the case.
A&E has reportedly offered the family a second season of their reality show The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty. But sources tell TMZ the brothers haven’t responded to the offer yet.
Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Jermaine are the ones predominantly featured on the show, and would probably benefit by having a steady paycheck for another season. But insiders think the brothers are holding out for something bigger and better.
We don’t blame them—the show obviously hasn’t done too well since it’s flown under the radar for the full season that ends next week!
