You can barely hear the trailer.
I have seen the trailer on tv more than once and you can barely hear the audio. There is definitely a difference in the volume level of the trailer to other programming. It makes the movie seem even cheaper.

shareSeems More Syfy Quality.
shareI notice the same thing every time it comes on. I mean you just cannot hear it. I wonder what the problem is--surely they could afford proper sound? I mean even YouTube videos get that right.
shareI haven't seen Ray Park since Star Wars.... Oh wait he was horrible as Toad in X Men.
shareThe tv ad for Jinn runs constantly on TNT during the day, and not only can I not hear it, it is so incredibly dark and grainy, even the cgi title logo is fuzzy. It's like a third-generation bootleg on vhs.
If they had invested in a quality tv ad, I might be interested in this movie.
lol! You summed up quite well how I feel about this movie after watching one of the shoddiest trailers I have ever seen for a theatrical release. It doesn't do much to persuade someone with little to no knowledge of the movie to go and see it. I actually thought it wasn't even a real trailer the first time I saw it as I had never even heard of the movie before that.
shareIt has disconnected action sequences and overall quality that make it look like a car or phone commercial.
