SRK vs Salman Khan at the box office

Both of their films even though it pure crap have been really good at the box office. Who will win in the end? Who will people stop watching in few years? How many here is Salman fans or SRK fans? Let's battle!

Salman Khan is making money for his muscular appeal but SRK has more versatility. So, it is likely that SRK will last much longer while Sallu will lose his popularity as he age. I like both. SRK deserve credit for his acting in many good movies (Swades, Chak De India, DDLJ, KKHH, Dil Se etc). Sallu has good movies going on currently but again his fan base is highly influenced by his physique.

well its REALLLY hard to make a movie like Ra.One... its VERY easy to remake a tamil hit movie (wanted, ready, bodyguard)

RE: Rohonnag

That's telegu remakes, not tamil. Tamil films like, Enhdiran, Indian, Bombay, Roja, Sivaji, Thalapathi is impossible to remake.

Back to the topic, I think SRK will hang on more in this industry but the Indian people will not change so maybe Salman Khan will still make crappy films (so does SRK btw) and still be famous.

reply

SRK doesn't make too many crappy movies like Salman. And we all know Salman has acted in 50 flop films in his career (including the recent flopbuster Jai Ho)... and that.. is a big shame! "Hit" ratio of SRK is highest amongst all Khans in Bollywood.

I never got why people liked Salman.

SRK all the way. No competition at all.

So true No competition at all.

I think Salman gets the money b/c his steroid pumped body makes young indian guys gush over him--that's all. Otherwise, he makes Keanu Reeves look like Laurence Olivier. When the steroids get to his brain, his reign will end.

SRK, on the other hand, is this generation's (90s-00s) answer to Amitabh. He will wane eventually, just like Amitabh, until he finds a role that suits him. However, Amitabh was a man's man; SRK is a wuss--I can't stand it when he cries on film over stupid stuff(he looks like a spoiled brat who has been castrated), and at times, looks like the psychopathic killer who looks meek (like Dahmer). Not to say he's a bad actor, but he's definitely no Amitabh.

To answer your question, I think it definitely is SRK, but I think Indian cinema needs a real man as an model(like Amitabh, Jackie Shroff, and even Anil Kapoor) rather than these girlie pretty boys.
