What a ridiculous movie and concepts. My review and rant

This movie was not good. It was a cheesy C-movie.
The lead actress was good but rest were terrible. The quality was like a high school play.

And the religious and other propaganda was completely ridiculous. Even key topics mentioned were clearly false.
For e.g. they talked about Israel giving back lands and getting Hezbollah and Hamas in return etc. This is just nonsense. Modern day Israel didn't exist before 1948.

That was Palestine and was ruled by British. After the jews got displaced from Europe due to Hitler they all congregated back to what they consider their promised land (I'd have personally preferred Hawaii or Bahamas instead of a desert but whatever) and Britain carved Israel out of Palestine. However, they didn't recognize Palestine but recognized Israel as a country which was wrong.

Now, we shouldn't exclude several thousand years of history where the mid east changed ownership from jews to romans to christians to muslims to jews etc. Sure, Israel existed for hundreds of years before muslims took over before israel took it back etc. Meaning, it has been a back and forth. Since it is tough to tell who really came from where and when and who was there before, both sides should be recognized.

Coming back to the movie, the plot was simple but filled with Christian quotes and nonsense. How can people refer to primitive books written a few thousand years ago for important questions about the universe by backwards people but use modern medicine, chemistry, biology etc. is perplexing.
People don't go to churches to get treatment from diseases. They don't use carrier pigeons to communicate. They don't consult the religious books when sentencing people. The supreme law of the land is the Constitution and other govt. law books because you break only them you go to jail. Nothing else.

The directing was not that good nor were the cheesy low budget effects. At the end, was it meant to depict rapture where people ascended bodily into the aurora to go somewhere? What about the rest of the world?

Overall, a terrible christian propaganda in hopes to convince some people.

Final rating : 3/10
