I cant stop listening to the ending theme ... Thinking in retrospect about the film, while listening to this music is giving me goosebumps ... desolation, oblivion ...

reply

Yeah I know how you feel, I have listened to it for a hour or so, stop and rewind, I thought the song was an odd choice at first, but the more I listen to it the more it fits the feelings at the end of the film

reply

Duduk is the haunting instrument that dominates the score. Just wanted to mention that, so anyone who loves that sound knows what to look for. Armenian Duduk tends to be mindblowing, as is duduk music of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, and Iran.

Thanks a lot for introducing us to this instrument!!!

Thanks for the upload.
I've just seen the movie and your link is much appreciated!

I believe the ending theme was by Pawel Mykietyn and using the same musicians he used for most of the rest of the soundtrack. Guitar was Pawel Stankiewicz. Interesting side note is many of those involved in the film were or are musicians; Gallo has his own records out, has played in various bands and done most of his own sound track work, Emmanuelle Seigner is a singer again with CDs out, David Price (the American officer) is a bass player, Stig Frode Henriksen has fronted a band in Norway and Skolimowski himself was a jazz drummer.
