Cried at the end

Post here if you cried at the end ... Especially after hearing the melancholic solo with the credits roll ...

reply

No tears for the film/story line, but after rewinding that tune at the end, it made me look at my life, mistakes, people that had come and gone, the *beep* world that we live in........

reply

True ... All forms of violence are to be condemned, the human being is the victim whether he is the one doing it or getting it ...

reply

The victim?! The dude murdered a logger in cold blood, and he already had blood on his hand before that.

Victim? Hardly. He picked up an RPG and killed when he didn't have to do so. He CREATED violence on others.

reply

Because as far as we know, at the start of the movie he is an un-armed civilian caught in the wrong place and the wrong time and chased not only by three ground soldiers, but also a helicopter above which almost kills him. My only guess as to why he killed the three soldiers who were hunting him down is because he knew of too many people who were captured as suspected terrorists but were actually regular civilians and he didn't want to be treated and/or killed the same way. Check out the documentary "Taxi To The Dark Side" where a cab driver is captured by the military and beaten so badly that he died from the abuse:
