Aside, from 'The Fugitive' can someone please name a few films of similarity to 'Essential Killing' ??? I don't know, I'm beginning to like films of this type...

"Figures in a Landscape" by Joseph Losey with Robert Shaw and Malcolm McDowell. "The Naked Prey".
The old short/Twilight Zone episode, "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge".
The Russian movie "The Ascent" had some similarities.
"Diamonds of the Night".

Bartas' "Eastern Drift". Has a lot of the time a very similar vibe to Essential Killing.
