Please stop with the hand-held cameras.

Yes, it worked for Cannibal Holocaust. And The Blair Witch Project pulled it off too 20 years later. But now it is just annoying.

Cloverfield could have been good, if it wasn't for the hand-held. Chronicle was probably too silly to have been good anyways, but the hand-held made it worse. District 9 was good in spite of hand-held cameras. I haven't seen the Paranormal-movies, so I can't comment on those.

Now, for this movie: First of all, it is so obvious that they don't use the hand-held at all times, even though they pretend to. Most car shots are taken from an angle where the camera must have been placed outside the car, and are we supposed to believe that someone rode beside the car with a camera filming? Second of all, if the camera man really kept filming throughout all those intense situations, it would make him deranged. I know Alan in Cannibal Holocaust did so too, but he was deranged.

I could go on, but let this be enough for now.
