That's what we're led to assume, unless of course a sequel is made, but I doubt that will happen after this movie's poor reception.

That's how I took it. The line at the end "you know me, everyone knows me" leads me to believe the devil himself came for her because she killed an unborn baby. If that's the case they never stood a chance of getting away. Awesome ending.
