The story was over. The driver was possessed and they all died. That's it. There was the conclusion. It didn't just randomly end and then tell you to go to a website to figure out what happens next. People need to grow a pair and accept that that was an interesting way of ending the film, very rarely seen.

All the good footage made the trailer. Other than that, nothing else new happens in the movie. If you watch the trailer, just watch the ending after that, and your movie is done. There is no real interesting fleshed out narrative to make such an abrupt ending satisfying.

Why does everyone hate it?? So, its not a happy ending. Not every film has a happy ending.

It's not that it wasn't happy. We've come to expect "bad guy wins" endings from horror movies nowadays. The problem is that it was so abrupt and unsatisfying, and almost felt lazy in a way. It just didn't seem like a decent payoff.
shareThis movie has no ending. It doesn't tell you what happens nor show you. All it does is cut to black and give a website link to see the real ending. The website no longer exists anymore so the ending isn't there. We hate it because its so downright insulting. Why should I waste my time on a terrible and boring horror movie that gives me no ending and leaves only a website link to see the ending itself? Its corporate greed, laziness and insulting bs.
