Did anyone else notice that as the term "Non Educated Delinquents" phased into N.E.D.s that for a moment it seemed to say "No Dad/s" I wonder if this was deliberate. All in all the film was alright. I kinda wanted something more, being a huge fan of Peter Mullan. I'll have to look into his other directorial works.

Neds never stood for "Non-Educated Delinquents". I wish people would drop these folk myths, and Mullan's a bad un for encouraging it.

I thought for sure it merged into 'No Deus', meaning 'No God', showing the bleak and ultimately hopeless life they all live in.
