Does the DVD feature the original Beatles recordings?
Does the DVD feature the original Beatles recordings? The broadcast version did, but I as the licensing issues for cinema/home video releases are a lot more costly and complicated than those for TV broadcasts (at least here in the UK) I am curious to know.
The Beatles (well Apple Corp) appear to have a policy of flat refusal when it comes to licensing Beatles recordings for movies/TV. But as "All You Need Is Love" and "Ticket To Ride" appear on VHS and DVD releases of The Prisoner ("Fall Out") and Doctor Who ("The Chase"*, but only on the region 2 version) they do seem to make the odd exception.
* But annoyingly no "Do You Want To Know a Secret?" on "Remembrance of the Daleks" DVD.
"I think you're a load of old crap too, Mr Mulligan."
