How come Eccleston didn't get a stiffy during the naked scene?

He said in an interview that when actors have to get naked together "you watch each other's backs. Literally. You daren't look anywhere else". So his eyes wouldn't have been anywhere near Naoko's more private body parts.

Although honestly, I didn't get aroused by that scene. I think Naoko Mori is totally gorgeous and has the most perfect bottom ever () but it's just nudity.

There are benefits to being female. Personally, I thought that actress as homely as the original.

I'd still like to see Christopher Eccleston put on a few pounds - I know he had to be thin for this part, but he's been far too thin for far too long - gone the days of "Shallow Grave" where he was more robust and utterly irresistible.

Probably the effect of the presence of cameras , brilliant lights, make-up artists, runners, director, coffee boys, and the general organised chaos involved in filming may have something to do with it . They weren't really alone in a bedroom you know .....

While, yes, Naoko Mori is a dish!!, the fact is that its not just the 2 of them & a camera. Its them & a whole mess of people. Plus the ambient temperature of the room under all the lights. And trying to act, on top of delivering lines, etc.
Not exactly the most condusive of environments for a guy to, er, rise to the occasion, lol, unless you're there to film porn!
