The Best Lennon movie so far

Ok, it's true Eccleston was much older than John, but it was still easy for me to accept him in the role, as he did such a great job with it. And he did look like John. They even got the nose right.

That was the only problem I had with the movie Nowhere Boy. That actor didnt look or sound like John at all.

Here Eccleston obviously studied John's voice patterns.

And yes, as someone stated before, John had cut his hair by the time he moved to New York but I would hardly call that an innacuracy.

The only "innacuracies" I can think of were like in the beginning and the girls are getting John's autograph while Brian is standing besides him looking annoyed.
Brian ALWAYS beamed when the Beatles got that sort of attention and he would have had a huge smile on his face.

There was no press conference that I know of announcing Magical Mystery Tour although John did later say that the film was the "most expensive home movie of all time..." like he does to Paul in the bathroom.

And some of things he said in certain press conferences were actually taken from one on one interviews, not in front of the entire press.

Overall, pleasantly surprised. Loved the feel, the look, Eccleston, and it told the story of a fascinating time of transistion for Lennon.

A+
