I wont be around to see all the responses because I myself am going into training workups to go to war. All you people disgust me, the people who use the excuse 'they are volunteers who are dumb, violent, poor and uneducated ABOUT THE WAR OR THE PEOPLE IN AFGHANISTAN'.

For one:
You people know nothing about the people in Afghanistan. You've never been there, you never will go there. You nothing of what it feels like to be oppressed by a brutal sadistic regime and bombed by another. All you do is sit around and write articles about pot and how much you hate the men who go and fight for your freedom.

Second:
You think that people join the modern military to help people in another country. Good god, i serve in my nations Navy and i can tell you no one person joined up to serve anyone other then their brothers and sisters besides them on a ship. You *beep* have no loyalty for the great people who fought for your country, who give you the right to saY THE THINGS YOU WANT. We dont care about a bunch of rag head Muslim's who believe that blowing themselves up will staisfgy their god. We go because our GOVERNMENT TELLS US TO. We work our assess off, away from our families and loved ones for months on end for YOU! SO THAT YOU MAY LIVE IN FREEDOM AND PEACE. YES! WE VOLUNTEER AND WE DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE KINGS, WE ARE KINGS!!!

None of you anti-war supporters have every done anything useful in your life. Yes the system is corrupt and wrong etc etc but it is the system which keep us from anarchy and oppression. And it is what keep you alive. It allows to be rich or poor, happy and sad SO SHOW SOME GRATITUDE.

The men depicted in this documentary spetn 15 months in a flee infested, mortar bombed small arms riddled fortress in the middle of a desert *beep* 12000 miles way from their loved ones. They stayed, they fought AND THEY DID what they were told as men, something none of you scum ever could have done. That is what they deserve credit for.

None of you have ever worked a daY IN YOUR LIFE, Ever. *beep* you all if you dont respect us, you are scum. We give you freedom, we can also take it from you. Respect that fact you pathetic sheep.

Really not sure what you talking about. Watch Iraq for Sale http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0815181/ for example and then try to explain what you babbling about. The whole "fighting for your freedom" and "because they are terrorist" is getting old. So old that everyone is brainwashed and repeat this for no reason. You are not fighting for my freedom (I am not American, I am not Afghani) you are fighting to make the big corporations tons of money. The only wars, was there in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, nobody invaded US soil.

Your not fighting a war for us. George Bush sent you there many years ago and now it's an endless war, you can't win it or lose it. Why should we call you kings? If a war broke out in our own country I would join up. But I'm not going to Afghanistan to die. You come back and are at square one, The Government acts like you never fought in the first place...What's the point.

I AM a hippy and I WAS a soldier. I support the troops and I am not against various wars. But I like musical festivals, love, nature, animals, colour and happiness. I have fired my weapon in aggression. I've worn my country's uniform. Don't tell me that I, nor the people I call friends, have never done anything useful. Don't generalize. And no, you are not a King. get down off your high horse; my military friends would be embarrased by you. Soldiers like you give the military a bad name.

the soldier Pemble in Restrepo said himself that he was raised by hippies, so I guess OP only hate hippies who dont shoot their guns off
