is the old, tree lined street in the movie actually in detroit?
i love it, its so spooky looking.
sharei love it, its so spooky looking.
shareIt supposed to be in Ferndale, a suburb just North of Detroit.
-You're going to hit that, aren't you?
-Like a big rig without brakes.
I live in Ferndale, and there is not one house even half that size in our tiny town! But, it does look exactly like the Boston-Edison District in Detroit, those homes are huge and gorgeous and quite old. The Northpointe building where she works is actually in Southfield, and there is no Ferndale Wellness Center (except for a tiny clinic for people who are totally broke).
I had no idea this was filmed in Detroit, j just wanted a ghost movie! How fun to see so many places I have been in real life!
There's a lot of spooky places in Detroit. In fact,it's spooky all over the city. ?
shareDo you want to buy it?
1405 BALMORAL Drive, Detroit, MI
$599,900
6 bedrooms, 6,293 sqft, 0.53 acres lot
But according to trulia.com it is built in 1921, not in 1910 as they say in the movie. And though it is not exactly in Ferndale, but relatively close.
