Prowl (my thoughts on it). SPOILERS.

I have to say it was as predictable as I thought it was. I mean it is a sad state of affairs when you know how it will go before you even watch the damn thing. This is what 90% of horror these days is like. Put a female lead in there and she is guaranteed to walk away while everyone else gets killed. I never once felt for anyone from the group. In fact the only one I liked was Bruce Payne he drove them to their doom in the truck. I've liked Bruce's acting for ages now. I recognized him as soon as he approached the group when they were at the side of the road.

I don't see me watching too many more After Dark releases. No way. Those that made this movie owe me £8.97p as this is what I paid for it in Asda. If I'd known it was like this I'd have waited till it hit the bargain bin maybe that way it wouldn't have stung with it's predictability as much as it has done. Price is everything these days. I suggest if people can get this movie by other means then do so. Be it borrow from someone else or what ever. Do not waste good money on this. It adds nothing new to the horror genre it only gives us what we've been getting in the stale ending results for the past three decades or so now.

The character development was good.

I agree with you, Zombie. It was extremely predictable. I'm getting pretty tired of horror flicks involving unsuspecting teens being shown to their doom. Gone are the good horror flicks like the Fog (the original), the Thing (the original), Alien, and other flicks featuring adults having to figure out a way to stop the creature that's killing them. Nowadays horror just seems to involve young kids screaming everywhere til the cute chick accidentally finds a way to escape and perhaps kill the creature. Yawn.

This flick got low ratings for the poor lighting, camera shaking, undeveloped script, and just being damned cliched from beginning to end.

You are correct in everything you just said my friend. Well put.

Given that you mention The Fog in the same sentence, when you say "The Thing (the original)" do you mean John Carpenter's 1982 remake of the 1951 film or the actual original?
