Stop shaking that camera

Please just do that, I mean now and for good.

reply

I agree. Stop that!

reply

Make that three. The shaky cam scenes are unwatchable. I have no idea what's going on in those scenes.

reply

ya it was horrible. my eyes felt so tired just try to focus on those scenes and i gave up after 3 seconds..

reply

I couldn't agree more with all of you. I hated, hated, hated the camera shaking. It gave me a friggin headache. That's probably what helped to give this movie such a low rating.

reply

Seriously - and not just this movie either. Shaky cam is a crime against movie watchers everywhere. I have never seen any movie where I thought, "gee, this really could have used a little more shaky cam."

reply

Agreed! One director makes use of the shaky camera angle and all of a sudden it's the rage. It's hard to follow and it's annoying as hell too!

reply

That and the horrible lighting. Once they got dumped in the slaughterhouse, the scenes were so dark I couldn't see anything except sweat, the occasional blond hair, and the stripes on Amber's jacket sleeve.

Then I saw 'Animal House' was playing on VH1, so this clunker got ditched.

reply

That's why I hate Rec and Quarantine.

reply

Considering there was a lot of running and desperate situations, it did not bother me much. But with other films, when you are watching a scene of a mountain side, shaky cam is annoying.

reply

Another vote for that here. Stop it. Stop it right now. Do you hear me, Filmmakers ?? Bad Filmmakers. Bad, Bad Filmmakers !! Bad, Bad, Bad Filmmakers !! No more shaky cameras !! No more no more no more !!

reply

I agree! Stop doing it cause it's annoying as *beep* Every time you choose to do Instead of using your tripod jib dolly or crane, I'm going to boycot your film!

reply

100% agreed. It's nothing but a headache and is the reason I didn't finish the movie after the first attack at the warehouse.

reply

Yep, that stupid shaking camera just down right sucks, making a bad movie truly awful.

reply

Throw my name in the hat. I think they do it to save $$$ on effects, lighting, stunts, storyline, plot, acting, etc. The ONLY film where it was cool was "Cloverfield", because it was SUPPOSED to be amateurs. These films are unwatchable and pointless. I also concur with the earlier poster on the lighting (or lack thereof). I gave it 2.

Son, you can't polish a turd

reply

Agree completely. 38 minutes in and I can't watch any more. The shaky cam gives me a headache from rapid eye movement. If I thought it was going to get better I might try to hang in there, but going by the comments I don't think I'm going to be missing anything.
