shareWHU?!?! My own WHITE, SOUTHERN parents were a big part of the civil rights movement in the South... as were my grandparents. What the heck are you saying here? There were MANY whites willing to put their lives on the line for this important cause.

Well, if your parents were brave enough to join the Civil Rights movement, then you should be proud.
I always thought it was laughable that America claimed to have more freedom than Russia or to have freedom when millions of Americans suffered under the tyranical South. The Russians knew America's talk of freedom was phony when it got the reports of the South.
Understand that the person who posted the "propaganda" statement probally suffered a lot of racism. So don't get mad. The person needs to be educated.
