Based On Actual Events ???

Don't you love how they say "Based On Actual Events" at the start of these movies ... without any explanation of what events they are talking about???

In this film ... there was a WW2 ... with American pilots ... flying missions out of N Africa ... in B-17's ... into Italy ... who encountered German fighter planes ... and many Americans died.

That's it ... there's your actual events. But then again we all knew that.
