Quibbling over details

Funny to me that the complainers are focusing on minor details. (e.g. The number of chemicals are wrong, the exclusion isn't part of clean water act). There are more important details that in my opinion are not disputed.

The drilling mechanism used is "fracking."
Fracking causes cracks in the shale that is likely to allow the drilling chemicals to leak into adjacent potable water deposits.
The chemicals used include carcinogens and toxins.

As long these core elements, are true then is cause for concern. And frankly, I would rather prices go up if people are harmed in order to save money.

As someone who, presumably, has zero knowledge of the inner workings of natural gas exploration and production, aside from what the media and "documentaries" like this tell you, it's easy to see how your opinion can be easily swayed by a heart-wrenching yet inaccurate piece of propaganda.

Please see this thread for an incomplete list of inconsistencies and inaccuracies regarding this "documentary":

I'm a middle aged attorney who has never represented an oil and gas concern. It seems we have a catch 22. If you actually know something about gas well production, you are not listened to but are called a shill. If you don't know anything about gas well production, you are not worth listening to regarding whether this was an accurate or fair documentary. Tough catch, that catch 22.

All I know is that soon after fracking started these people's water supply turned to toxic goop, or they had natural gas coming out of their faucets.

Details, schmetails. That's all I need to see/hear.

We, those who have IQs above 110, plus some basic scientific education etc. are a but more capable of knowing the difference between actual scientific fact and a pack of lies.

You sir have revealed to all that you have been duped by this ridiculous crock of *beep* documentary.

So finding weapons grade uranium in your well water is quibbling over details?

See FrackNation where you will hear the paid off idiot property owner from the documentary make that outrageous claim.

All details seem little to the small and poorly educated mind.
