Well, I know some of you will be overjoyed and others disappointed...but Funny or Die Presents will not be returning to HBO, at least in it's original format. HBO has apparently decided to change the show into a series of standup comedy specials. The creative team behind the original concept decided that wasn't something they wanted to get behind, and we've all agreed to walk away.

As Ed Haligan, I had the best time I think I've ever had as an actor. Would anybody here be interested in Ed doing something on the web? Not sure what, yet, but I absolutely think the character has legs. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

I wish we had been able to find a broader fan base...but, to those of you who stuck with us, I'd like to thank you. Your viewership meant a lot to all of us.

I think it would be great to see more of Ed Haligan. Honestly, your character was the best part of the show.

I thought this was a reasonably funny show, not every segment was a winner but there were some funny ones

I can't say I'm surprised it didn't last though
