was I the only one who's jaw dropped when TRON was smoking crack cocaine? I knew he was the loose cannon and I got the feeling we got a taste in Fubar 2 of what the boys were always talking about in the first film. Yet still, being someone with experience with this kind of thing...For me at least - The humour and comedic aspect of recreational drug use is blown to smithereens when rock appears. It just caught me off guard and worked on a very serious level with the whole suicide part of the plot. Very well done I thought.

ya, I didn't expect to see acid, crack and suicide enter this story but the whole alcohol obstacle has been done before so many times and they just took a different path. I wasn't totally against it but they needed Tron to have some negatives so he could have the ending that he did.

Up in the oil patch in Fort McMurray there is so much money that there is so many people up there who literally do use drugs. There is lots of crack cocaine up there. People use it to stay up and work long hours. So the movie is using it just to show the accuracy of life up in the 'mac.
