We caught this movie on Netflix instant streaming.
Anyone else impressed with the integrity of the sets and costumes? I wasn't able to really scrutinize,but I'll be giving the movie a second watch so I can. From what I did see, there was a lot of attention to detail in the buildings, furnishings, etc.
Although predictable, this is a pretty good little western!
I'd agree. Since it was obvious this was a direct to video production, I had very low expectations...which are usually well-met in the D2V western genre. But this was an interesting movie, Peter Coyote brought his usual A game and Shockley as McCain was as good a western villain as ever there was. I did laugh, though, when a frustrated Shockley/McCain yelled out, "Let's cut to the chase," which I'm pretty sure is an anachronism, a cliche that has to do with movie editing.
