Did they create Chiles Stanton's back story to be similar to Leighton Meester's? If so that's ingenious, because the actress can just pull the emotions from her own life and give a better performance. I think Leighton did amazing in this, and honestly carried the film. This wouldn't have been possible, I think, if she didn't have those real emotions to relate the character and her life.
