He just needs to stick to singing. I feel he must know important people and him and his wife are a Nashville Power couple and thats the only thing that gets him by because he isnt even anything special when it comes to singing. I have heard much much better and he isnt anything unique.I really do not care for his acting and even in The Blindside he was dry and Sandra carried him. He just does not show movie quality acting skills at all. He really has to know some high up people and be really good friends to get these acting parts because I just know there are way better actors that could have been a better choice in the movies he has been in. To which I believe has just been the 2 other than some TV he has done. Thats even to much.

Obviously that is just your opinion. If everyone felt the way you do, then he wouldn't have the fame, success & popularity that he does. Not trying to be argumentative or saying that you're wrong for having your opinion, just pointing out that your opinion isn't what seems to be what the majority thinks.

It takes time to get good at it. See him and Dwight Yoakam in Dirty Girl.

I don't think that Tim's acting is that bad. But I don't really know because everytime I've seen him act (here and in "The Blind Side")he always plays the same part: the weak husband.

I don't follow Country Music, however, I did like Tim in both this movie and The Blind Side. I think he held his own.

Check out his short scene in "The Kingdom", he was very effective.
