Only Getting Worse...

The show's current format appears to just be a vehicle for someone to say Myron Mixon is "the winingest man in BBQ." I think the show moved away from its original format because Myron's ego couldn't handle losing week after week, or placing 47th out of 100. The addition of "Big Mo" doesn't bring anything to the table, but on a positive note, overrated Aaron Franklin is gone!

I agree its become more about Mixon. They are trying to make him THE celebrity chef (a la Fieri, Flay, etc) of BBQ.

But if it makes you feel any better Mixon was a flaming failure trying to enter the NYC restaurant scene. I think his "Pride & Joy" restaurant in the East Village either was open for 3 months and closed, or never opened its doors. His Miami location and NYC are both plagued with embittered law suits with him against his investors.
