I watched 2,5 seasons and finally stopped - because it is a damn stupid show ;)
It always was a guilty pleasure and I wanted to see how they explain the dome
compared to the book.
So... can anyone tell me, if it had a real ending without a cliffhanger
and answers to all important questions?
If so... I´ll finish it - hey - I made it through the book, too ;)

It was so-so.There was a resolution of sorts,but it also left the door open to continue.

Like I said in an earlier thread, this series had an interesting enough of a premise. With that said I think it would've turned out alot better if the writing and thus the ending would've been a bit more in tune with the earlier episodes.
The writing fell apart during the third season and perhaps even before that. The ending to this series didn't seem as rushed as the ending for Falling Skies was for an example, but still it feels incomplete and somehow not too well prepared or planned for.
My final thoughts towards this series would be summarized by saying that I'm happy that it is over, since it went on waayyy to long!

OP, I did the same thing. It was a quite stupid show. There's 3 episodes left, and I'm wondering if its worth the end. Idk if it is, or if I even want to. I don't know if I care about it. Please help
shareThe show was going to uproot its filming location from Wilmington, NC to Utah to cut costs, but they pulled the plug. I wonder where they intended to go with the show.
shareThe fact that the end is *spoilers* aliens is the only thing it has in common with the book. That's it, aliens in broad terms, any further details are different too. Sigh.

For what it's worth, many people will eventually check the show and at some point they'll ask themselves if they should finish it.
Well, you'll have to think of the Season 3 finale as the end of a horror movie, it ends that particular story, but leaves the door open for a sequel. And yes, the dome story has a resolution.
