Favourite season?
What season was ur fav? I think mine was the 3rd season. It was new and different and the acting is better. The 2nd season pissed me off when they killed Angie and that lady cop (can't remember her name)
shareseason 1, followed by season 3, then season 2.
season 1 had a very clear start, and though the second half got a little silly, it was still enjoyable.
Season 2 was just a *beep* they clearly did not have enough time to plan what they were going to do, so had to roll with whatever ideas came out. The science vs. religion thing was the most horribly done thing I've ever seen. they wanted certain things to happen with characters but weren't prepared to deal with the consequences of that.
namely, big Jim. he would murder half the town, then in the next episode julia and barbie announce "we can't kill jim, cuz killing is bad, and jims bad but were not, so we can't kill him!!1!" and then instead of being smart and locking him up in prison they just let him run around town and commit more crazy crimes. it got laughable pretty much immediately.
Season 3 was a lot weirder and it had a huge shift in story telling, but it actually wasn't all that bad if you could forget what this show was originally about. the transition to full scifi was bad, sure, but the ideas behind it were good. unfortunately it derailed from what appeared to be its premise (each character experiencing their arc, or a sort of reverse arc where they realize the arc was not right for them) and quickly became scifi cray cray madness leading up to the final episode. still could have been worse, but at the end the show was so far gone that everything they did was rahter laughable and unmotivated.
