Movie

I think Stephen King's book Under the Dome could be salvaged from the wreckage the tv series made of it by making a movie instead, and placing it in the hands of quality filmmakers. The story is right out of The Twilight Zone, and should be handled as such.

I don't think you could turn a book that long into a movie without having it end up being nearly as bad as the show due to the numerous cuts and changes that would be necessary to squeeze the story into a two or three hour runtime. A five or six part miniseries (minimum) that's actually faithful to the novel would be the best way to go.

I agree, I would love to see the awesome novel adapted into a movie, like it deserved to be in the first place instead of being bastardized into this awful TV show, ugh. And, if the book is too long to adapt into one movie, do like other long novel adaptations have done, and make 2 (or 3) movies.
