It always gets complicated when one dates their boss. If the relationship doesn't work out, things get awkward. The boss might treat the employee negatively. Even if they were still dating, others would be concerned the employee gets preferential treatment. In general, it's always good advice to not date your coworkers. Some companies even have rules against this.
