Characters on TV kissing each other is sooooo overdone, so now R&I have thrown a few twists into the mix.

Tonight, there's a scene where Frankie Rizzoli is alone with Idara Victor's character, Nina, and she is incapacitated -- sort of -- (arm in a sling) so Frankie, who we have always considered the Golden Boy here, takes advantage of the situation and he moves in and gives her a warm kiss on the lips. She is taken aback, and instantly Frankie goes into guilt mode.

The next day at work, Frankie and Nina meet again; only THIS time Nina proves to be the aggressor. She not only kisses Frankie, she covers his face with her kisses, and this goes on for a few minutes before they break it off.

Is the show heading for a long-term relationship between these two? Yeah, yeah, I know it's the final season, but this playfulness was put on display in the very first program of that final season... meaning, they could still drift apart if that's the way the producers want to go. It will be interesting to see what they do with this.

By the way: I looked up Idara Victor's bio, and it appears that this young lady is more than just throwaway background talent. She is a classical pianist and has appeared on Broadway for years, in several productions.

Cheers,
Dan

It figures Nina would have a white boyfriend as she is too dark for a black male. All or almost black relationships, the female is lighter than the male. Bald headed real dark males seem to be the trend now.

You may be right, I might be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you are looking for!
