Id suggest watching HK films in the 80s for the likes of Moon Lee, Cynthia Rothrock (lord not her american stuff tho), and Yukari Oshima (tho Angela Mao is a very personal fav)
hell even today Id rather watch Zoe Bell in fights like the bathroom scene in Angel of Death
I suppose when Jeeja (or the any number of names shes credited under) is more brutal, like in the final fight of this film, im fine but the rest of her moves and timing are pretty floaty and lack stiff contact for which Thai fighters are famous. Coming off the heels of hard Thai styles like Tony Ja and the heavy styles of current Donnie Yen its a bit passive.
The movie was okay, doubt i need to watch it twice, but I suggest looking at a bit more fight scene wise if shes the best youve ever seen (not to take away from her talent)
I actually like Rina Takeda better....but again i like heavy hitting over flash....
