Chicago's best

As a native Chicagoan not able to live in my beloved city, I found this movie one of the best ever filmed in Chicago. Even The Fugitive wasn't this good. Dennis Farina (rest his soul) is one of my all time favorite actors, not JUST because he was a Chicagoan and a former Chicago cop, but because he also loved Chicago as much as I do. One must really be born and raised in Chicago to understand and notice all the subtle nuances in this movie. Many things in the movie would be overlooked if you didn't understand or know Chicago and Chicagoans. For example, one of the beginning credits refers to the "Goat". Unless you are from Chicago or have lived in Chicago many, many years, you'd never understand the meaning of that name. It refers to "The Billy Goat Tavern" one of the oldest and most famous taverns in downtown Chicago. It IS Chicago.

Once again, I will miss Chicago and my fellow Chicagoan Dennis Farina.
